A node won't connect

Some node owners turn off app connections. Hamhop tells you on the node's page. Pick your own node in Settings > My node, and Hamhop links your node to it instead.

Which password do I use?

The one you sign in to allstarlink.org with. It stays in your phone's Keychain and only goes to allstarlink.org.

I don't have a license yet

Tap "No license yet? Try the demo" on the first screen to look around. Nothing goes on the air. To transmit, you need an amateur radio license and an AllStarLink account.

Audio is quiet

Turn up Settings > Audio > Receive volume, along with your phone's volume buttons.

I own a node

Install keyup-bridge on your ASL3 node to invite hams, set roles and manage links. Email us for the install steps while Hamhop is in beta.
